The optional sound system of the luxurious Bentley Coupe, the Mulliner Batur, priced at an incredible $2 million, surpasses a Tesla in price. The Bentley Mulliner Batur Coupe was unveiled during last year’s Monterey Car Week and is a true masterpiece of automotive craftsmanship.

This vehicle serves as a showcase for future Bentley models, and the British luxury car brand is committed to making the Batur the most coveted limited-production vehicle money can buy.

Vacheron Constantin and Rolls-Royce unveil unique and personalized collaboration

Bentley has announced that the Batur will be available with what is considered “the most exquisite automotive audio system ever created,” developed in partnership with Naim. This option costs £25,000 (approximately $32,000) and has been exclusively designed for the 18 fortunate customers who will have the Batur handcrafted by Mulliner.

Bentley reports that this custom sound system is the result of 10,000 hours of dedicated development work, involving the creation of new hardware and a complete system recalibration.

This unique sound system consists of 20 speakers, including six tweeters, nine mid-range speakers, two woofers, two active bass transducers, and a subwoofer. It has been meticulously designed to provide an unparalleled musical experience, offering exceptional presence, detail, power, warmth, sharpness, and immersion while incorporating the most advanced technologies.

Developed in collaboration with the French audio brand Focal, this system uses a unique combination of 3D-printed speaker baskets and highly tuned driver cones to create a truly exceptional audio system.

The mid-range speakers and tweeters derive from Focal’s Grand Utopia speaker technology, featuring patented ‘M’ cones by Focal. Furthermore, the Naim for Mulliner system incorporates state-of-the-art digital signal processing (DSP) technology, allowing drivers to customize the listening experience based on seat position and personal preferences.

With the system development completed in June, the 18 fortunate owners will have the opportunity to work closely with Mulliner’s design team to customize their Baturs to their specific needs.

The Naim for Mulliner sound system will be just one of the available options for the Batur, which was launched with a starting price of $2 million. This model represents Bentley’s latest vehicle to be powered by the iconic 6.0-liter W12 twin-turbocharged engine, producing an impressive 740 horsepower and 737 lb-ft of torque in the coupe.
